MEMORIAL GARDEN
A STATEMENT OF POLICY ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE OJAI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

The Ojai United Methodist Church Memorial Garden is set aside for the interment of cremated remains and for meditation. It is maintained by donations and fees.
Interment in Ojai United Methodist Church Memorial Garden is limited to baptized members of Ojai United Methodist Church, their spouses, parents, children and grandchildren; and other baptized Methodists, at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
A donation of $800 per person or $1500 per couple is requested for interment of cremated remains. Donations above this amount are welcome. All monies received are used to maintain the Memorial Garden and the church.
 Interments in the Memorial Garden are unmarked. The location of the remains is recorded on the plot plan maintained in the church office. The interment is recorded in the parish register. A bronze name plate inscribed with the deceased person's name and dates to be attached to the Memorial Plaque may be purchased through the church for a fee.
Ojai United Methodist Church reserves the right to decline to disinter cremated remains buried in the Memorial Garden.
